# March 27, 2026 — New architecture: event platform

Glass Data is no longer payment-centric and has become a configurable event platform. The main changes:

- **Event types** — each type has its own fields, metrics, and monitors. Payments, chargebacks, signups, and any other event coexist in the same engine.
- **Flexible metrics** — built on any event type, with support for aggregations, filters, groupings, and dependencies between metrics.
- **Monitors and alerts** — independent entities linked to event types and metrics, with delivery by email and support for exclusion filters.
- **Filters** — a clear separation between dimensions and conditions, with support for exclusion, multi-value lists, and autocomplete.
